Invisible White Fillings??

We have all seen advertisements for invisible white fillings.  But as you can see in the photo below, just because your dentist is placing a white composite restoration doesn’t mean that it will blend in naturally or cosmetically.  In all our offices, our dentists work hard to make sure we deliver the best possible results.   In the example below, the old, very obvious, white filling was removed.  The extensive decay was removed completely and a new shade matched composite filling was placed.  Special attention was given to the occlusion (the bite) to make sure it is in harmony with the rest of the teeth.   When done properly, the filling should blend in esthetically.

Our dentists take great pride in their work.  When looking for a dentist, choose an office that takes pride in their work because you and your teeth deserve it.

All photos published to this blog are actual patients of Saratoga Springs Dentists. This case was completed by Dr. Gregory P. Dodd.
