I have severe anxiety with going to the dentist. I’ve been putting it off for years. when I called and explained my situation they were totally accommodating and understanding! Megan did my cleaning and she was so gentle and caring . I also saw Dr. Kavanaugh and he was knowledgeable about why I was having strange tooth sensitivity! I used to have a fear of going to the dentist but that changed when I became a patient of Dr. Kavanaugh.It’s the office environment and most importantly the staff. Dr. Kavanaugh does great work. His years of experience are evident in how he takes care of his patients.The staff, from front desk to dental hygienist, I adore them all. They recognize me right away. They are warm, friendly, and caring. They are just cool 😎.Whether it’s getting a cleaning, getting a crown, or making an appointment, each person there makes the experience better.I look forward to going so I can chat with them. Uodate 7/31/2026A Composite that I had in my front tooth for about 50 years broke off. I called on a Tuesday morning about coming in to see about it being repaired., I was called back immediately and it was repaired on Friday morning in about a half an hour. Dr. Kavanagh and his Able-bodied assistant worked wonders. Thank you.As a new patient, I expected a long wait for the first appointment, actually the wait was less than 24 hours. Came in for my first appointment, was seen on time, in a fabulous modern facility. The two ladies at the desk were enormously friendly, Jean, my hygienist, was personable, knowledgeable, and patient with all my questions. And very efficient. Dr Kavanaugh put me at ease immediately and as a fellow Navy veteran, we had some commonality, but he was also quite open and friendly, highly recommended.Second visit for follow up cleaning, and still just as awesome, thank you Jean!Third visit, to finish a deep cleaning, a wonderful experience 5/29/26David Manzi More

I cannot say enough about how pleased I was with my first visit to Columbis Family Dentistry. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I had my first appointment here in January of 2026 after not going for way too long due to a traumatic experience. Dr. Kavanagh and team are INCREDIBLE! The girls at the front desk are always to kind and helpful! I haven’t had a bad hygienist either. Jean preformed my initial intake and cleaning and she is the sweetest and so incredible! I had some emergency and unexpected work that needed to be taken care of and they never once made me feel like it was my fault. Unfortunately that also means I’ve been in their office multiple times since my initial appointment! Dr. Kavanaugh is the best! He keeps in real but also take into account that you’re human! I cannot recommend CFD more! I refuse to go anywhere else. They’re perfect and incredible all around. No notes! More

It was so comforting to find such a nice office and competent dentist to take the place of my retiring dentist! Dr Kavanaugh’s front office staff fit me in last minute for an emergency visit!
