I had my first cleaning here today. My prior dentist stopped taking my insurance, but this practice participates with my insurance, and they are 20 minutes closer to home.My hygienist (Tanya) is fantastic! She told me about all the preventive services they offer (laser treatments, placed antibiotics) and found that they are very affordable. Tanya took her time and was very gentle. The dentist was polite and did a thorough exam.I wish I had found them sooner! I would recommend them to anyone! More

I was back at Greenwich Family Dentistry today (02/11/2026) for a workup appointment in preparation for a dental crown. Dr. Raffuel, performed Brilliantly as usual, and his Dental Assistant, Marley, Never Once, mishandled the suction wand to accidentally suck out my appendix.I believe this was my longest visit ever since being a patient at Greenwich Family Dentistry, having outlasted my former dentist, Dr. Valerio, who I believe retired, solely because of the anguish he suffered from the terrible jokes I told at every dental visit. I was in the chair for two hours and fifteen minutes; I think the Hygienists should perform a free vehicle oil change on your vehicle if you're in the chair more than two hours, but I doubt that will happen.Seriously, this Dental Practice has the most Caring and Professional Team, that make you feel like family, as soon as you step in the door. More

My first visit was a consultation for work another dentist told me I needed but the cost was prohibitive. Dr. Marcus did a complete review of the work and agreed in part. The pricing is remarkably better than previously quoted and he made me confident in his ability to do the needed work.Today I had a very old crown replaced. I went to Greenwich Family Dentistry with a sensitive tooth our we should say teeth. I just had a filling done in Amsterdam where I reside. My Amsterdam dentist took a ex ray and did a touch up job avoiding my cavity. I could not believe the xray of my cavity. There is no way anyone cognitive dentist could miss it. So my new dentist Marcus Raffuel of Greenwich Family Dentistry realized the severity of the teeth needing attention. He was straight forward and did a awesome job. Zero pain. I have been seeing Dr. Raffuel for the better part of 20 years. He is by far one of the most competent, most knowledgeable, most caring, most friendly dentist one person could ask for!!! Even though I live an hour away from the practice, I would travel twice that far just for his expertise....but it goes much farther than that with me....and sooooooo many of his other patients....he's family to us!!! I trust him 110% with his care and recommendations!!!! As a side note, the entire staff at the practice is very friendly from Hannah at the front desk to one of the new assistants, Beth....who I saw yesterday.....very knowledgeable and friendly just like everyone else....great addition to the practice!!!I can't praise everyone enough!!! He is commonsensical in his approach as to what the options are in particular dental issues. He has helped me with several issues, and adjusting a crown from a previous dentist, has helped immensely with TMJ issues. His assistant Marley, is also excellent at her job. Coming from someone who’s always had bad experiences with dentists and haven’t been to one in years due to high anxiety, I can absolutely say this place changed my look and how I feel about going to the dentist. I had a tooth pulled By Dr.Raffuel and he talked to me every step of the way with what I should feel and kept asking how I was doing during the procedure. Not once did I feel judged but was talked to like a human being. I hardly felt the needles which from past experiences/dentists they were always super painful. The removal of the tooth wasn’t bad! He promised that I wouldn’t feel a thing and that promise was met. I could be more pleased. More

Always such a good experience. Cleanings go friendly, quickly and the tech’s are gentle. The first time I had to have a filling, they listened to me about my anxiety and provided solutions. The second time I had to have a filling was yesterday and I had no anxiety at all. Dr. Raffuel is very personable, caring, and gentle. I didn’t feel the novacane pain at all really and for the first time in my life only the amount of novacane needed was used. My whole face wasn’t numb for 24 hours like usual… Dr. Raffuel is well informed and explains what he is doing and why. He knew I would be sore from some of what he had to do and he prepared me for that and gave me medicine there and to take home. He was right every step of the way and took good care to make sure I was okay and comfortable. He is also the only dentist so far to care enough about my TMJ pain to offer me a solution that no one else had yet and I am grateful to at least give it a try. The receptionists are very knowledgeable and friendly!! I never have to wait long to be called in and the hygienists tech’s have always been so kind and quick and gentle. I recommend Greenwich Family Dentistry to everyone I can. More

They also give you a very nice breakdown of the services/treatments being done and will run your insurance FIRST before doing so.
