Dental hygienist, Paula, is truly the best! I am not a fan of a dental visit, and she makes it a positive experience. The front desk staff are professional and friendly. Adding that I needed a crown removed and Dr. Marcus Raffuel is the best dentist I've ever had. This is the first time that I haven't experienced pain when given a shot of novocaine and there was no pain afterwards either. Remarkable! More

Having my teeth cleaned and x-rays taken was a very positive experience! My hygienist helped me relax and complimented me on how well I floss. She didn't have to do too much scraping. Dr. Valerio seemed happy with how healthy my mouth is, including the bones that hold everything together. I love that I can drive down Route 40 and get there in 20 minutes. I would be sad if I had to change dentists. More

My first visit to Greenwich Family Dentistry was today. Dr. Godica and his assistant I believe her name was Taylor were both amazing. After losing my husband last May I started grinding my teeth and many had broken off. I was embarrassed and they were both understanding and compassionate. They devised a treatment plan. I had my first cleaning here today. My prior dentist stopped taking my insurance, but this practice participates with my insurance, and they are 20 minutes closer to home.My hygienist (Tanya) is fantastic! She told me about all the preventive services they offer (laser treatments, placed antibiotics) and found that they are very affordable. Tanya took her time and was very gentle. The dentist was polite and did a thorough exam.I wish I had found them sooner! I would recommend them to anyone! More

The entire staff is chill and makes you feel welcome as soon as you arrive.I am incredibly careful about who I trust with my dental care because of terrible past experiences—specifically having teeth filled without any numbing agent. Dr. Godeci is the total opposite of that. He takes great care to ensure you are actually comfortable before he starts. Quite literally the best experience I have ever had at the dentist! After inconsistent (to say the least) dental care throughout my 20s and 30s, I scheduled an appointment here at the recommendation of my husband, who also recently started going here. Today was a more intensive appointment as it involved restorative work, but the process was so smooth and painless — truly not an ounce of pain. As an elder millennial, I’m fairly convinced many of us stopped going to the dentist once we turned 18 and decided we were all invincible. Then life happened, and we woke up at 40 realizing we most certainly are not invincible - and routine care is important. My point being, this place is absolutely wonderful. If you have a fear of dentists, it will completely disappear once you walk in here. If you haven’t been to the dentist in a while, you won’t be shamed for it. They are super honest with you, and provide a really lighthearted and enjoyable atmosphere. 1000/10 would recommend! More

I was in a pinch, having a medical emergency and my previous dentist office stopped taking our insurance. GFD were able to squeeze me into the schedule. Hannah, the Patient Care Coordinator was amazing! She was friendly and outgoing, helped guide me on what I needed to do. Paula my hygienist, was awesome! I felt immediately at ease (I don’t enjoy going to the dentist); she was efficient, gentle and informed me on each step she was taking as she worked on me; Dr. Godici, was very pleasant and put me at ease; he was helpful, informing me on how some of my medical conditions can affect my dental health. I will be returning for my cleanings, so glad I found this place. I highly recommend Greenwich Family Dentistry. More

Always such a good experience. Cleanings go friendly, quickly and the tech’s are gentle. The first time I had to have a filling, they listened to me about my anxiety and provided solutions. The second time I had to have a filling was yesterday and I had no anxiety at all. Dr. Raffuel is very personable, caring, and gentle. I didn’t feel the novacane pain at all really and for the first time in my life only the amount of novacane needed was used. My whole face wasn’t numb for 24 hours like usual… Dr. Raffuel is well informed and explains what he is doing and why. He knew I would be sore from some of what he had to do and he prepared me for that and gave me medicine there and to take home. He was right every step of the way and took good care to make sure I was okay and comfortable. He is also the only dentist so far to care enough about my TMJ pain to offer me a solution that no one else had yet and I am grateful to at least give it a try. The receptionists are very knowledgeable and friendly!! I never have to wait long to be called in and the hygienists tech’s have always been so kind and quick and gentle. I recommend Greenwich Family Dentistry to everyone I can. More

At the end of the day - you generally want to get in and out of a Dentist’s office. Greenwich Family Dentistry makes the experience so smooth and pleasant. The front office staff was super welcoming, Colleen, the hygienist that handled my cleaning was awesome, and I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Raffuel. I’ve been a patient of his for years and followed him when he moved to this practice. The space is laid out well, so people aren’t tripping over each other between scan and exam rooms. I couldn’t be happier with my dental care. Everyone is very nice and super professional. I had a bad fall a couple years ago and felt so supported and cared for. They ladies at the desk were so amazing. They helped me with my insurance situation which was so confusing. The dental team made my visits as comfortable as they possibly could. He has done dental work for my family and I in the past and I have 100% confidence in his decisions and ability to do whatever is necessary and in my best interest. I was cheerfully greeted at the entrance and in addition to the standard health and Covid screening questions I was asked about how I was doing. I had a very nice conversation and was able to share a bit about myself and learn about my hygienist. What gentle, professional and friendly people!
