Adding that I needed a crown removed and Dr. Marcus Raffuel is the best dentist I've ever had. Having my teeth cleaned and x-rays taken was a very positive experience! My hygienist helped me relax and complimented me on how well I floss. She didn't have to do too much scraping. Dr. Valerio seemed happy with how healthy my mouth is, including the bones that hold everything together. I love that I can drive down Route 40 and get there in 20 minutes. This place is great and I REALLY dont like going to dentist appointments, but I would go back here. They were really nice they told me everything they were doing and why they offered me bottled water gave me sunglasses so the light wasnt bright and in my eyes or damaging them in anyway, plus they have a little tv at your feet. My prior dentist stopped taking my insurance, but this practice participates with my insurance, and they are 20 minutes closer to home.My hygienist (Tanya) is fantastic! She told me about all the preventive services they offer (laser treatments, placed antibiotics) and found that they are very affordable. Tanya took her time and was very gentle. Quite literally the best experience I have ever had at the dentist! After inconsistent (to say the least) dental care throughout my 20s and 30s, I scheduled an appointment here at the recommendation of my husband, who also recently started going here. Today was a more intensive appointment as it involved restorative work, but the process was so smooth and painless — truly not an ounce of pain. As an elder millennial, I’m fairly convinced many of us stopped going to the dentist once we turned 18 and decided we were all invincible. Then life happened, and we woke up at 40 realizing we most certainly are not invincible - and routine care is important. My point being, this place is absolutely wonderful. If you have a fear of dentists, it will completely disappear once you walk in here. If you haven’t been to the dentist in a while, you won’t be shamed for it. Insurance is complicated, so make sure you understand what your policy covers and ask questions of the insurance people, not receptionists who might not know all the particulars. That's my only complaint: I misunderstood my policy after a comment and could not submit a bill that I mistakenly thought I could. More

I have had a few procedures done at LGFD and my experiences have been great and my results, i couldnt be more pleased. Dr Marcus is great! His plans are always based on good methodology, which is important to me. We go over briefly what is wrong, why it is that way and what we are going to do to correct it, and if applicable, what plan B will be. The times i have had a question during a procedure, he stops and addresses my question. I always feel i am in good hands with Dr Marcus. The staff was polite, courteous and answered all of my questions regarding my dental plan. Today, my dental hygienist was Shaylon and what a kind, pleasant and personable young lady. She made me feel comfortable during my visit and informed me about a preventative cavity procedure that was available. This was the first I was made aware that the office offered this service. While there, I took advantage of this easy and fast treatment. I was seen by Dr. Dodd who is such an easy going doctor to speak with. What an outstanding staff at this this new location! More

I like most people avoid the dentist but my experience here was different. The office is in a converted house not some cold medical building which was welcoming. I am a veteran with PTSD and Anxiety the staff took that into account and walked me through every step of the way with respect and dignity and if I needed a break they were fine with that. Dr knaust who worked at the V.A. while doing my exam told me exactly what she was going to do and her exact location because of my PTSD. The dental assistant Kim was patience and reassuring and calming. My overall experience from the smile and welcoming from Jasmine at the front desk was above and beyond. I will say most medical offices are cold and unwelcoming but here they treat you with respect and dignity and as a family. You can tell by listening to the staff and how they interact with each other this is the dental office for you especially Veterans. More

I arrived a little early and checked in, the staff were very friendly and professional. The hygienist Sarah did a great job of cleaning my teeth, taking updated x-rays and used a diode laser to keep my gums healthy. Dr Miyamoto looked under the hood and I was on my way in less than an hour. More
